Staples Professional™ has partnered with several colleges and universities across Canada to create the 2021/2022 Staples Professional Scholarship for Corporate Workspace Design.

The scholarship aims to develop and support Canada’s next wave of professionals who have the potential to make a significant contribution in the design field. It provides an opportunity for talented design students to re-imagine today’s workspace into a place where digitalization, telecommuting and need for collaborative space can all be combined. Participating students will be judged on a variety of criteria, including overall design concept, space planning solutions, finishes and material selection, presentation skills, and more; and will receive exclusive benefits to hone their design models and skills.

The 2020/21 season will be the 10th consecutive year for the Staples Professional Scholarship program.

To Support The Next Generation of Interior Designers and Leaders

Staples Professional has maintained a far-reaching commitment to the future of the Canadian interior design industry, including education and support of new business and design talent.

The goal of The Staples Professional Corporate Workspace Design Scholarship is to foster a 360-degree approach to mentorship that will best position emerging entrepreneurs for real world success.

Each school presents their top students based on their respective criterion.

The students at each school then put forth a presentation on their project to a panel of leading interior design and business leaders.

Once a winner is selected at each school, the new wave of interior designers will receive the following exclusive benefits:

• $2,000 scholarship award
• Mentorship and networking opportunities with Staples Professional leadership teams as well as Canadian business and interior design leaders
• A chance to be showcased on Staplesprofessional.ca, it’s Blog and social media platforms

The Scholarship is open to all undergraduate students majoring in any field related to Interior Design.
